Millard B. Conklin Crusader for Lionism Award

 

AWARD RULES

Purpose:
This prestigious award is designed to encourage participation of the "grass root" Lions in each sub-district and club for outstanding dedication and contribution for their efforts made to Lionism. The Multiple District winner will be selected from the seven sub-district winners. The award shall cover the accomplishments realized during the period from January 1st through December 31st of each calendar year.

Eligibility:
All Lions whose membership is in a Lions Club of Multiple District 35 are eligible, except the following: Current or Past District
Governors, current or Past Vice District Governors, candidates for District Governor or Vice District Governor, cabinet secretaries and/or cabinet treasurers, current or past international officers or directors, or a spouse, partner in service of anyone serving in that capacity during the same year.

Nominations:
Each club may enter all eligible members. A Zone Chair may nominate a President of one of the clubs in his Zone or a District Drive Director. A District Committee Chair may nominate one of their workers. A recognized Multiple District service organization may nominate an entrant, provided the entrant is not gainfully employed in the Lions activity for which credit will be claimed.
