TRANSFER LION

 

OBJECTIVES: This award is designed to assist the transfer Lion to Florida in becoming orientated, thoroughly familiar, and fully involved in the activities of Multiple District 35.

 

ELIGIBILITY: This award is available only to transfer Lions in their first year in Florida, beginning with the transfer acceptance. The club membership committee is responsible for assisting the new member in the pursuit of these requirements. The club membership director should secure completed forms for certification by the board of directs who, after their approval, shall send the forms to the district chairperson.

 

EACH OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS ARE MANDATORY:

                    (Must Complete 9 out of the 10)

1.    Visit the Conklin Center OR attend a lecture on the center             ______   ______

       from a representative of the Conklin Center.

 

2.     Attend two board of directors meetings for your club.                    ______   ______

 

3.     Attend a Zone meeting.                                                                            ______   ______

 

4.     Participate actively in two club projects.                                             ______   ______

 

5.     Attend two other club meetings OR the MD-35 Convention             ______   ______

 

6.     Recruit one (1) new member.                                                                  ______   ______

 

7.     Visit Southeastern Guide Dog OR attend a Council Conference.   ______   ______

 

8.     Attend 75% or better of regular club meetings.                                  ______   ______

 

9.     Attend one district cabinet meeting OR eye bank meeting.            ______   ______

 

10.  Visit the Florida Lions Camp OR attend a lecture on the

        camp from a camp representative.                                                       ______   ______

 

 

The Membership Chair shall date and initial each item of achievement as accomplished and secure the certification by the club secretary.
